Locality About 100m due west of Killarney Falls, beside Back Creek, withing the Canugra Field Training Area.
Habitat Rocky soils on minor terraces, of dark rocky clay loam soils derived from the Triassic rhyolites of the Chillingham Volcanics. Tall open forest of Lophostemon confertus and occasional Olea paniculata with lower tree layers of Backhousia myrtifolia and Alchornea ilicifolia. Growing in small but dense coloney beside old track cutting, in partial shade, on east-facing slope.
