Occurrence remarks Locally frequent (only one naturalised plant commencing flowering at this location but many hundreds 1 m high and above, cultivated flowering plants over road - this species is naturalised at other locations around Lismore) tree to 5 m high. Leaves bipinnate, dark green above, paler below. Flowers with 5 butter-yellow petals of varying length initially but all similar length at anthesis; stamens 8, filaments pale yellow with long white hairs; calyx lobes 5, green.
