Occurrence remarks | Common in seagrass beds and on exposed rocky reefs, but generally remain hidden among plants and are therefore difficult to observe. Pronounced sexual differences in shape, males have two long dorsal spines are brightly coloured, females are dull in appearance and lack extended dorsal spines. |
