Occurrence remarks Palm 7 m x 20 cm dbh. Fruit: mature, red, globular, 9-10 mm diameter. Flesh tastes slightly mealy sweet. Fructescence: 8-10 main lateral branches. Number of leaflets = 28 in each of two fronds. Leaflets are either free right to the base or a few are united by 2-4 cm of leaf tissue at the distal end. 2nd Basal Primary laterial of frutescence contains 29 laterals including terminal tip. Fruit in FAA. Tree
