Occurrence remarks Woody shrub, much-branched at base, to 4m tall. Occasional weed at this location, about 6 plants observed downstream. Flowers yellow-orange, fruits greenish. Leaves dark glossy green, branches with milky sap when broken. Apparently very old rubbish tip site, possibly arisen from dumped cultivated material.

Event remarks Edge of short dry gully line leading to small dry ck bed, on heavy grey/black clays derived from basaltic or sedimentary rocks. Fringing forest of Corymbia dallachiana and Lophostemon grandiflorus, with tall shrub layer of Lysiphyllum carroni. Lower shrub layer of Acacia farnesiana, and scrambling Cryptostegia grandiflora. Ground layer of Tragus australianus and Dactyloctenium radulans.
