Occurrence remarks The beach shell is in good condition and was found at the sheltered end of CorrigansB, Batemans Bay. The double valve is thin, light and shiny. The sculpture consists of faint concentric growth lines.The lunule and escutcheon are averagely nondescript.They are faintly lined and not coloured.They are neither sunken nor protruding. The colour is white with irregular brown radial streaks.The umbones are tipped pink and there is a thin band of pink around the ventral margin. There is also a concentric (half) band of colour over the dorsum. It's only a small shell but is bright shiny and colourful. South of its usual range but matches the description in BiV of Australia.
