Occurrence remarks Aedes camptorhynchus is a common mosquito in southern Australia in cooler months, although adults can be active throughout the year.The adults are a medium sized darkish mosquito with banded legs. The proboscis is extensively mottled particularly on the underside, wings are completely dark scaled.
