Occurrence remarks A tufted grass to 30 cm tall with open, spreading habit (possibly perennial). Dark green leaf blades, upper surface appears to be smooth, undersurface appears to be partly rough, ascending green stems, collar region or junction of nodes pale light yellow.

Event remarks Seedheads - green with specks of brown, appears to be covered with fine silky hairs, seedheads strawish colour at maturity. Occurring lightly scattered amongst other grasses and forbs on a tree-less alluvial flood-out plain of the Diamantina River.
