This trip was part of a general expedition to the Cooper Creek area by the ANIC. Lew J. Chinnick was the collector and he was accompanied by Charlie Mayo, Edgar Riek, Ian Common, Tom Greaves and Ted Rafferty. The trip was described in Upton, M.S. (1997). A rich and diverse Fauna: the history of the Australian National Insect Collection 1926-1991. CSIRO Publishing, Collingwood, Victoria.
Occurrence remarks	sand riverine area and sand rise E. bicolor association - marginal strip along either side of the river (Paroo). Dominant trees E. bicolor and Muehlenbeckia cunninghami. Pasture nil - scalded and eroded - gilgais full of water from rising river and heavy rains. Back from the river to a sand rise. Trees - odd E. bicolor, Dodonea spps. and Atalaya hemiglauca. Pasture - Eragrostis japonica dominant.
