This trip was part of a general expedition to the Cooper Creek area by the ANIC. Lew J. Chinnick was the collector and he was accompanied by Charlie Mayo, Edgar Riek, Ian Common, Tom Greaves and Ted Rafferty. The trip was described in Upton, M.S. (1997). Occurrence remarks | Acacia aneura association. Trees:- Acacia aneura, Acacia tetragonaphylla and an odd shrub of Eremophila spp. Pasture on the flat almost a pure sward of Enneapogon nigricans with odd plants of Chloris truncata and Salsola kali. On a nearby sand ridge Atriplex fissivalve, Salsola kali with some Aristida jerichoensis present. Dominant species here being the composite spp. as fro 8909. few adult Ch. terminiferas present. |
