Field notes Transcription of notebook 85 of K. H. L. Key's field notebook collection in the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC). The collector was Lew Chinnick, on a large trip from Adelaide in South Australia to Elliot in the Northern Territory, across to Halls Creek and Derby, then Wyndham, in Western Australia, up to Katherine, Northern Territory, then across to Longreach, Queensland.
Occurrence remarks Gibber plain Gibber plain. Open stony rise dissected with small runoff areas bearing Acacia tetragonophylla. Some Eremophila species on stone. Some crab holes with Astrebla pectinata and Eragrostis sp. Scattered Atriplex vesicaria bushes among the lower stone areas. Open stoney areas dissected with small runoff areas.
