Occurrence remarks 1.2km West-North-West of Mount Claro, on 'Camel Creek' - Mount Fox Road. Steep range of metamorphosed mudstones of the Kangaroo Hills formation, forming short, steep gullies and slopes. Soils are stony grey clay-loams. Tall woodland of Eucalyptus crebra and Corymbia erythropholia with grassy ground layer of Themeda triandra and Sorghum plumosum var. plumosum. Tall tufted grass forming diffuse patches. Reaches 50cm tall. Common at this site, subdominant component of grassy ground layer. Specimen treated with ethanol for mould.
