Occurrence remarks Annual grass to 15cm tall, some plants have two distinct types of rame on the same plant, with the long narrow pedunculate ones having one or two spikelets, and the sessile or shorter pedunculate rames with multiple spikelets. Plants generally hairy.

Common grass to 15cm in open forest of Corymbia clarksoniana with other tree species on a very gently sloping colluvial plain of orange-brown loamy sand.
