Habitat Lower slopes of steep basaltic valley with rocky brown heavy clays and loams. Regrowth vine forest dominated by Mallotus philippinensis, Melia azedarach, Pentaceras australe, Hodgkinsonia ovatiflora, Jagera pseudorhus, Acronychia pauciflora, Croton acronychioides, Arytera divaricata and Austrosteenisia blackii.
