Field notes Conical tree to c. 6 m high. Fruit green, ripening to yellow.

Occurrence remarks Widespread and relatively common mid-story tree throughout areas of damp and wet forest in the western Otways. Seed collected from c. 50 individuals along Mt Mackenzie Tk between Hargraves Tk and Morris Tk. Sampled for the Victorian Conservation Seedbank.
