Field notes Transcription of notebook 85 of K. H. L. Key's field notebook collection in the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC). The collector was Lew Chinnick, on a large trip from Adelaide in South Australia to Elliot in the Northern Territory, across to Halls Creek and Derby, then Wyndham, in Western Australia, up to Katherine, Northern Territory, then across to Longreach, Queensland.
Occurrence remarks Basalt outcrop in rugged range country Basalt outcrop in rugged range country bearing scattered bloodwoods. Main ground cover is Triodia with Enneapogon on more favoured locality. Quite a deal of miscellaneous annuals both grass and herbaceous plant growth. Genus Nov. 15 (?) sp. 4
