Event remarks Reported to have been introduced by a previous farm manager and to have been established in other dams in district. Robust aquatic grass with cylindrical, pith-filled stems. Leafy culms float on and emerge from water to a height of c 50-80cm. Water thought to be 1-2m deep. Leaves with conspicuous stem-clasping 'auricles' at base of blades. Inflorescence green to 30cm long.
