Occurrence remarks | Platypus sighted in small pond (dam) on property near house, after several days of rain. First time seen one in 15 months here. Observed platypus at 6pm, after dark. Watched it swimming around pond and foraging in open water and vegetation for several minutes, then left it alone. Not sighted next day. Brown tree frogs calling at the time. |
