Occurrence remarks An erect shrub to 1.8 m high. Leaves strongly discolorous and very foul in odour. Calyx greenish and pink, upper 2 segments with a dark red spot at the base inside, petals with red laminas. Flowers exude a black liquid. Numerous plants present along creek. This species seems to have the potential to become quite a serious environmental weed in the area with its prolofic production of seed.
