Occurrence remarks Unknown cicada call, mainly from high up in gum trees. Did catch a glimpse of a few down lower but quickly flew away - they were black in colouration. The call is a high pitched tic, much like a silver princess (Yoyetta celis), but it continues on for a sustained period of time. The call is also often continued whilst in flight.
