Field notes Dense tussock, leaves green.
Occurrence remarks [Note that one of the two fertile culms has an inflorescence with darker coloured glumes, more or less reddish-brown, rather than a pale-brown as in the second fertile culm. Possibly a mixta, in which case the culm with the pale- brown glumes and distinct striae is a better match for Carex testacea. V. Stajsic 11th December 2003.].
