Habitat
Supplied as "Plain at opening of confined gorge; dissected by a series of shallow, rocky distributaries. Moist, shallow, sandy soil amongst sandstone rocks on plain and along river bed. Open, species-rich, savanna woodland over a mixed perennial grassland and sedgeland with numerous herbs. Associated spp. included Grevillea pteridifolia with Buchanania obovata, Terminalia latipes, Corymbia collina, Melaleuca viridiflora, Acacia plectocarpa, Grevillea agrifolia, Cochlospermum fraseri and Petalostigma pubescens in the overstorey, with Microstachys chamaelea, Xyris complanata, Thysanotus chinensis, Utricularia sp., Stackhousia sp., Bossiaea bossiaeoides, Stemodia sp., Polycarpaea sp., Panicum decompositum, Sorghum plumosum, Triodia sp., Gossypium australe, Tephrosia spp. and Haemodorum sp. in the understorey."
