Occurrence remarks 5-6mm. I was pruning during lockdown and found this between two leaves. It barely moved. There are 18 hours between the photos on the leaf, and the photos on wood where the ootheca has dried. The cockroach was running like the wind by the second round of photos, which were just after its re-release back in the garden. Last I heard, this was an undescribed species of Balta. I know QVMAG was working on cockroaches, so maybe it now has a name. These are common in our suburban garden.
