Locality 12 km by road N of Beechworth on property of Mr Jeff Lucas (0.8 km N of his house).
Habitat
Supplied as "SSW-facing slope in bed of creek fed by perennial springs; brown gravelly silt-loam derived from decomposed granite. Forming essentially pure stands along creek line and surrounded by remnant Eucalyptus goniocalyx - E. macrorhyncha - E. polyanthemos - E. rubida open forest. Some remnant Leptospermum scoparium and Carex - Juncus sedges remaining in the understorey following general clearing in 1965. The area is grazed by cattle and the clumps of trees are interspersed with pasture."
