Supplied as "Flat area. Soil: Red-brown loam with some gravel and coarse sand. Surface with a scatter of gravel and a thin cover of dark coarse sand (some loamy surface). Acacia aff. aneura (narrow, green; MET 15,850) and Acacia aff. catenulata low woodland over scattered Grevillea berryana low trees over scattered Sida calyxhymenia shrubs over scattered Triodia pungens and Plectrachne melvillei hummock grassland. Acacia aff. aneura (narrow, green; MET 15,850) 3-7 m = 15%; Acacia aff. catenulata (2.5) 4-5.5 m = 10%; Grevillea berryana 4-7.5 m = 1%; Sida calyxhymenia 0.5-1.2 m = 1%; Triodia pungens 35-55 cm < 1-2%; Plectrachne melvillei 40-65 cm < 1-2%. The Ptilotus polystachyus had been abundant (most dead). The Enneapogon polyphyllus was very common and the Bidens bipinnata was common in the damper patches. The Paspalidium clementii was common. Associated annuals: Dysphania kalpari, Ptilotus polystachyus, Stenopetalum anfractum, Ptilotus helipteroides var. helipteroides, Dysphania rhadinostachya, Nicotiana rosulata ssp. rosulata, Enneapogon polyphyllus, Paspalidium clementii, Aristida contorta, Bidens bipinnata, Amaranthus mitchellii, Brachyscome iberidifolia, Sclerolaena cornishiana, Eriachne pulchella ssp. dominii. Associated perennials: Maireana villosa, Canthium suaveolens, Cassia 'glaucifolia', Digitaria brownii, Sida calyxhymenia, Solanum lasiophyllum, Canthium latifolium, Cheilanthes sieberi ssp. sieberi, Eremophila latrobei ssp. glabra, Grevillea berryana, Eragrostis eriopoda, Corymbia deserticola, Plectrachne melvillei, Sida atrovirens, Cassia sp. West Angelas (MET 16,115), Aristida obscura, Triodia pungens, Digitaria aff. ammophila, Eremophila latrobei ssp. filiformis, Maireana planifolia." |
