Locality Located ca 52km N of Aurukun & ca 29km S of Weipa, Cape York. Irrigation bund for site greywater on eastern boundary of clearing for Amrun mine accommodation camp, accessed via bitumen road, N turn off main Amrun mine access road from Hey Point terminal.
Habitat Edge of clearing in Darwin Stringybark open forest on red lateritic soils of bauxite plateau, mounded bund area irrigated with grey water from locally treated waste water. Irrigation water appears brackish, mangrove ferns Acrostichum speciosum and Ceratopteris thalictroides have colonised irrigated area together with a veriety of weeds.
