Identification remarks | Note: pith glands present; leaves have marginal lenticels. Bud dissection shows: outer operculum shed; stamens fully inflexed, all fertile, anthers cuboid, versatile, dorsifixed, dehiscing by longitudinal slits; style long, tapering slightly and the rounded stigma inserted in hole in operculum; locules 4, ovules arranged in 4 vertical rows on the placentae. |
