Occurrence remarks Seedlings uniform; 2 seedlings grown, assessed at node 10.. Cotyledons bisected; stems rounded in cross-section, warty, glaucous; leaves sessile throughout, opposite for at least 27 nodes, narrowly ovate at first 3 nodes then becoming broader and more cordate-orbicular, 1.9 cm long, 1.4-1.8 cm wide, base amplexicaul, margin entire, apex rounded or emarginate, discolorous, green to grey-green or weakly glaucous above, glaucous on underside, dull. Leaf L:W ratio ca 1.1-1.4. Lignotuber not visible on any seedling.
