Occurrence remarks A leaf beetle seen on a lichen-covered tree trunk. The brown and white patches appeared to be some kind of mould or fungus, as it was easily brushed off with a finger to reveal the black elytra. Is this a Trachymela? Do many leaf beetles disguise themselves in this way?
