Locality Ca. 200m E of western shore and ca. 1.0km away from Namaleta Creek to the E. Accessed via W coast by boat from Cullen Point, ca. 5.0km to the SW. Site ca. 11km N of Mapoon, Western Cape York. (Flora site NA10)
Habitat Paperbark woodland on coastal dunes. Area of blue Paperbark (Melaleuca dealbata) woodland to open forest to 20m high, on undulating dunes and seasonally to permanently wet swales running more or less parallel to the coast. Forms a band of forest ca. 200-400m wide with Chrysopogon elongatus dominating a grassy understorey.
