Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 630 m at 171.25 degrees from the summit of Big Hill. Upper bed of Bull Scrub Creek.
Habitat
Supplied as "In the NNW edge of the ferny level base of the shallow gully of the upper northern branch of Bull Scrub Creek. It was burnt on 24 Oct 2006. Blechnum nudum (c. 50 per cent now as a result of the fire and the post-fire browsing by Macropus rufogriseus [red-necked wallaby]), Poa labillardierei (c. 15 per cent now) plus Juncus pallidus, Pelargonium inodorum, Microlaena stipoides, Dichelachne sp. and about nine stunted Blechnum minus. Just two small Melaleuca ericifolia survived the recent fires. The original eucalypt cover was killed > 60 years ago."
