Occurrence remarks Uncommon (collected from 2 locations) parasitic plant to 10 cm high on host plants. Plants brown at this time. Hosts were Wilsonia backhousia Hook.f. and Eutaxia microphylla (R.Br.) C.H.Wright & Dewar. Digital images of this collection with John Hosking.

Supplied as "Ephemeral wetland above lake - subsaline area. No parent material visible here but basalt visible closer to lake substrate. Grey silt over black cracking clay. Area of low herbs, grasses and sedges, growing with Plantago coronopus L., Samolus repens (J.R.Forst. & G.Forst.) Pers., Lachnagrostis filiformis (G.Forst.) Trin., Ranunculus diminutus B.G.Briggs, E. microphylla, Centaurium tenuiflorum (Hoffmanns. & Link) Fritsch ex Janch., Selliera radicans Cav., Sarcocornia quinqueflora (Bunge ex Ung.-Sternb. ) A.J.Scott subsp. quinqueflora and W. backhousia."
