Occurrence remarks Locally dominant (probably >1000, solid over 20 m x 4 m in collection area - common in many other coastal areas) stoloniferous herb to 70 cm high. Stems, leaves and pedicels with simple white hairs. Leaves dark green above, paler below, most leaves trilobed. Involucral bracts green, some with purplish tips, with simple white hairs outside these being more common towards the base.Flower heads to 3.5 cm wide, all florets golden yellow; ray florets ligulate and male with ligules to 15 mm long and to 6 mm wide; disk florets tubular with 5 fringed lobes at apex, most bisexual but central disk florets female; stamens bifid.
