Identification remarks | To my reading, M. erythropyga would be the leading contender for an attempt to call this to species. I'm adding as a suggestion because there aren't currently records of it in the vicinity. Would be keen to hear of other ideas if I have overlooked something. Great record, Tom (@.. ). Is this, and your other recent similar records, on river bottlebrush (Callistemon sieberi)? Whatever the plant species, from your submissions it looks like a great insect habitat/resource! |
